Cables that are going to be installed inside of walls need the jacket to be of a particular fire rated material. CL2 rated cables will pass fire inspections for this type of installation.

This refers to the thickness of the wires. 28AWG (American Wire Gauge) HDMI cables provide the best signal strength for HDMI cables 15 feet and under.
*10.2 GBps
The speed that the data travels through the HDMI cable. Speeds above 2.25 Gbps is considered “High Speed” by HDMI licensing.
*HDMI Ethernet Channel
HDMI now utilizes pins that were previously unused to send an ethernet signal through HDMI. This usage will only benefit consumers if the source and the TV have the feature. If your source and/or TV do not have this feature, it will not affect you at all.
*Audio Return Channel
Audio can now be sent from a receiver to a TV, and back from the TV to the receiver over a single HDMI cable at the same time. If your TV and receiver do not support this feature, it will have no affect on your system.
*3D
HDMI supports multiple 3D display methods.
*4K Support
The maximum resolution that HDMI cables can display is 4096 x 2160. This is referred to simply as 4K. If you are looking for a 1080p HDMI cable, then look no further.

nice looking cables but there seems to be some hidden incompatibility with my equipment. first cable didn't ever work. second cable seemed to work at first with roku box -- but wireless net connection didn't. switched to another cable and roku box worked perfectly. I used this cable to substitute a cheaper one left by Directv installers. I have a Vizio 120hz 1080p LED TV. The picture quality was terrible. I used the same cable for another Vizio 120Hz 1080p LCD tv (not LED) in another room and it did not have a cable before which is why I purchased this. The image is acceptable level - nothing I can brag about. I was disappointed but not to the point of returning and trying to buy elsewhere. The price was good and decided to keep this for now. I have a spare cable since I ordered two. Have not tried to use that yet.
CableWholesale Response: Make sure you are tuned into an HD channel and that the program is also HD. Standard definition channels tend to look poor on new HDTVs. If you are already on an HD channel, with an HD program, please let us know, and we can send a replacement cable.
